There is something about dining on delicious seafood while savoring as well the view of the sea that makes for an even more delectable experience. It could be that the salty air whets the appetite. It could be that you just know that what you are chowing down on is incredibly fresh. It could just be that dining with a view makes any meal better. Most likely it is all of these things. There are many great places to dine when along the Gulf coast. Below are two local dining options that will appeal as much for the flavors they offer as their distinct and different, beautiful views.
Brass Monkey-709 Gulf Way, Suite 200, Pass-a-Grille
This haven for Baltimore fans boasts more than just Raven's decor, indoor and out door seating, the latter with a beautiful view of the gulf. But that is not even the best part-fresh seafood and great service. You may walk past the door; the whole restaurant is on the second floor, but once you find it, you will be happy. The Crab Imperial more than lives up to its name and the scallops are enormous and clearly fresh. Have a cool brew and watch the sun go down from the best spot around.
SharkTales-677 75th Ave, St Pete Beach
This place has a great view of the water and is fabulous at sunset with a drink. It is a great place to people watch as the boats come in and out from the gulf, perfect atmosphere to enjoy fresh and hot seafood. The grouper bites are delicious and if you don't grab a cracker and the fish spread you will regret it! The lobster mac is sensational and the blackened shrimp every bit as good! Enjoy a frosty beer and a sunset...feel like you are in Florida!
