Baby, it's cold outside!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Everywhere you look while strolling along the bay and the beach there are the signs of season's greetings. With water temperature in the 70's visitors find this weather plenty suitable for swimming. Locals would rather find something to do that makes them feel a little less like a polar bear! Never fear, there is much to do in and about the area that involves gazing at the waves while not actually frolicking in them in case the temperature is a bit too cold for your liking! The recent Christmas Boat Parade springs to mind but if you missed that do not fret, there are more great times ahead.

Head out for shopping at the Corey Ave Market, vendors will be open from 10 AM to 2 PM to let you get some shopping in for that perfect gift. Get a good spot, the parade starts at 4 PM. Route runs from Gulf Blvd at Blind Pass heading south to Corey Ave, then east on Corey to Boca Ciega.
