Sick of water? Let’s grab some beers, try a local craft brewery!

  • Join Mastry’s Brewing Co in St. Pete Beach this Saturday, October 21st, for their October Saturday Extravaganza as they transition their monthly market back into its day-time slot then liven up the night with a Heroes & Villains Costume Party. Market will be Noon to 3pm and DJ & Costume Party will be 6pm to 10pm.

We all know that water creates over 70% of the world. It is also the essence of life. The average human should drink about 64 ounces of water a day to remain hydrated. After we have enjoyed our intake of our daily water, us adults can partake in something a little more, in my opinion, tastier. Beer is the most indulged alcoholic drink in the United States, higher than wine and liquor. It is enjoyed in many different social situations and during different times with a wide variety of flavors and types. From early morning pre-game celebrations for football games, to late nights at a bar or with some friends. Beer is a multibillion-dollar business in the United States and continues to grow each day. Here, in St. Pete Florida, we are very lucky to hold some rather delicious breweries. And now with Uber and Lyft, we can rely on a safe ride home.

Just up the beach, at Blinds Pass, Mastry’s brewery is known for having some amazing craft beers from Pale ales to porters and even some sours. If beer is not for you, they also make their own wine and coffee. The Mastry’s is located just up St. Pete Beach at, 7701 Blind Pass Rd., St. Pete Beach, FL 33706.

Cage Brewery, just a few miles inland, also has some great craft beers. They have a nice outdoor seating area and serve food too. With a friendly environment, and some pinball machines, you can’t go wrong with this choice. Cage Brewery address is, 1st Ave S., St. Petersburg, FL 33712.

Cycle Brewing is a local little brewery with a great selection of cycling inspired drafts have beers. With free tastings and outdoor seating, this place is a definite stop, 534 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Although water is crucial for our survival, we must be able to relax and enjoy ourselves from time to time. so go ahead, kick those feet up and throw back a brew. Enjoy. 😊
