Some of my best memories are at the John's Pass Seafood Festival! Music, food, drinks lots of energy and crafty vendors! For 36 years, the community has come together, utilizing hundreds of local volunteers in support of the vision. John’s Pass Seafood Festival is currently the second largest Seafood Festival on the East Coast.
There are a number of great bands playing all weekend long! - including two of my favorites the Bearded Brothers Band and The Black Honkeys!
This event is our premier seafood festival, and the John’s Pass Seafood Festival offers a number of unique attributes. The Festival promotes the positive social and economic impact of the seafood industry. It helps educate the public about seafood and its importance to the area’s economy. The Festival provides substantial publicity to the wide variety of seafood indigenous to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. The festival further boosts tourism and recreation within John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk, Madeira Beach, and Pinellas County during the non-summer months.
In sum, the Festival gives visitors and the residents a reason to visit Madeira Beach to have fun and enjoy the bounty of seafood that inhabits our coastal waters. I hope to see you there!
