American Craft Endeavors is continuing an annual spring tradition with the St. Pete Beach Corey Area Craft Fair, bringing contemporary crafts from more than 100 of the nation’s most talented artisans to this free community event. A variety of jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, painting, clothing and much more, all handmade in America, will be on display. An expansive Green Market with plants, orchids, exotic flora, handmade soaps, gourmet spices and freshly popped kettle corn further compliments the weekend, blending nature with nurture. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the western edge of the Tampa Bay area, St. Pete Beach is only 45 minutes from Busch Gardens in Tampa and 90 minutes from Disney World, Epcot and Universal Studios in Orlando. This St Pete Beach event will now take place on January 12th & 13th.
The 22nd Annual Treasure Island Sport Kite Competition and Festival returns January 19 and 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, behind the host hotel, the Thunderbird Beach Resort.
Windworks and the Eastern League Sport Kite Association sponsor this popular sport kite competition and are now gathering competitors from around the U.S. to perform on Treasure Island Beach during the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday weekend. They expect a large crowd of spectators who will be amazed by the talented kite flyers performing to music at this two-day event in dual-line and multi-line sport kite competition in a wide array of disciplines.
