455 75TH AVENUE

St. Pete Beach

7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.

Closed on Mondays.

St. Pete Beach residents and visitors will be able to enjoy authentic, Brooklyn-made bagels with a tropical twist. Tiki Bagel will feature authentic bagels straight from Brooklyn, courtesy of Noshman’s Bagels. These bagels boast a 125-year-old recipe, ensuring that every bite is steeped in tradition and flavor. Owner PJ Powell is hoping to open this month (June 15th), promising a unique and delightful experience for both locals and visitors. Located in the historic site of the former Gail’s Diner, Tiki Bagel will be a place where history meets modern, tropical charm.

In addition to bagels, the restaurant will serve avocado toast and a variety of breakfast sandwiches, as well as coffee provided by Tampa-based Elevation Coffee, with multiple alternative milk options.

Tiki Bagel will also feature a cereal bar for kids, where kids will be able to serve themselves, which Powell expects to be popular with families visiting the area. Prices will range from $3.95 for a classic bagel to $11.95 for a craft bagel or breakfast sandwich. A classic bagel is simply a bagel with cream cheese or another traditional topping. Craft bagels can have a wide variety of interesting toppings, such as fried pineapple, bacon, sausage, etc. Another unique menu item will be the deconstructed bagel bucket. Basically, it’s a sliced-up bagel in a cup mixed with toppings such as ham, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. It’s designed to be a handheld meal that can easily be transported to the beach.

The space offers some off-street parking, making it convenient for customers. Tiki Bagel is set to become a favorite spot in the St. Pete Beach community. Keep an eye out for its grand opening this June and get ready to enjoy a taste of Brooklyn right here in Florida.

*For those with dietary restrictions, vegan and gluten-free options are in the works, ensuring everyone can enjoy a delicious bagel.
